The company was originally established as COOPERnet in 1995 by a group of TV newsroom system administrators. COOPERnet was (and is) developing intranet/internet applications, administrating, supplying and outsourcing computer networks. OCTOPUS Newsroom System was developed by COOPERnet and introduced at IBC 1999.
